Along with about 16 other paintings, these were the last Robert Walton created, after 45+ years in the art field. In those years, he created 4 or 5000 paintings, most never recorded, and the few that were, only for the prints that were made from them, no sizes saved! After the Washington State Fair, and the Fred Oldfield's show last October, Robert first had to have his right elbow operated on, thus in a sling for almost 2 months...thus no painting. In the 7 years we were together, unless we were traveling, or away from the house, Robert spent 7 to 9 hours every day in the studio, painting! So, for those 2 months with his arm in a sling, was almost unbearable for him!
BUT, January and February saw him back to full swing, at his easel,
trying to catch up for lost time! And this was one of those 16!
Canvas Giclee Prints are in editions of 100. Why 200? To honor the day Robert
was taken from us, on the 20th, and I wanted to honor that tender transition!
But now lowered to 100, to honor YOU!
To have an extra gorgeous canvas print, you can special order any print, treated with a substance that will reflect light off the brush strokes, instead of the canvas surface, thus giving the appearance of an original! Please contact us, if this is your desire.
Because the canvas needs to be stretched to do this, and there is the added cost for materials and shipping.
FREE shipping in the USA, for all unframed prints, rolled prints.
16x20 $325 24x30 $675
IMPORTANT:
THE CM Russell Show held in Great Falls this time of year,
has been postponed, due to the Virus...WHA will have their show March 2022,
where they will dedicate the show to Robert. His room is 105 at the Heritage Hotel
